Session 7: Sentence Formation 1

Sentence formation is a process of practicing of sentence in the written format.

There are following sentences in which “to be” verb is used.

  • He is a layman.
  • I am an intellectual person.
  • You are too busy women.
  • She is a very beautiful girl.
  • He is a very smart person.
  • They are playing Trump’s card.

Those are the “to be” verb sentences that holds (is, am, are) verb. These verbs are very essential to form basic sentences.

There are different types of sentences in which the “to be” verb is used at different places.

Affirmative Sentences

In this Sentences, the “to be” verb is declared after the Subject.

For example -:

  • I am an honest person.
  • He is a clever boy.
  • They are twins brother.

Negative Sentences

In this Sentences, the “to be” verb is declared before the not(negative) word.

For example-:

  • Now, I am not a Student.
  • He is not a brave boy.
  • They are not good players.

Interrogative Sentences

In this Sentences, the “to be” verb is declared before the Subject.

For Example -:

  • Is It really true?
  • Are You crazy?
  • Am I right or wrong?
